Tyus Jones signed a 1 year $3.3 million deal with the Phoenix Suns! The suns needed a point guard who could facilitate the basketball at a high level, and take pressure off Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal! Beal isn't a natural point guard, and isn't good at running an offense. Booker and Durant had to score at a high level in order to win games! They needed a point guard who could take pressure off them. They got the perfect point guard in Tyus Jones who has the best assist to turnover ratio in NBA history. He can also shoot the three ball efficiently, as he shot 41% from three last season. Jones addresses one of the major problems the Phoenix Suns had last season! However, the Suns still have one big problem. The Suns don't have a defensive minded small forward who can guard the other teams best player. During the playoffs last season, the Phoenix Suns had a tough time guarding Anthony Edwards. Most of time Devin Booker and Kevin Durant had to take turn guarding Anthony Edwards. However, they are not defensive minded wings, and already have a lot of pressure to perform on offense. Hence, the Phoenix Suns have to trade for a cheap defensive minded wing, who can guard the other teams best player. The suns could try to trade for Dorian Finney Smith, or sign someone from the buyout market. Bruce Brown could be bought out from the raptors, and would be a perfect fit for the Phoenix suns! Additionally the Suns could still sign Cedi Osman or Isaac Okoro, who can fill defensive responsibilities for the Suns.
